Marketers in the popular Alaba International Market in Lagos, today, blocked entrance into the ever-busy market to protest what they called 'government negligence'. The body of a young girl was found at the market two days ago and it's yet to be removed. Check out more tweets after the jump....
Really? A decomposing body in the middle of a market and the officials are doing nothing about it. I guess the marketers are supposed to just pretend like they don't see the remain of a young girl in the market? This is just ridiculous! How can elected officials refuse to carry out their simple obligations? What is the local government in this area doing?...My goodness! This can only happen in Nigeria......I think the Chairman of this local government area should be fired....Period!
