President Buhari Reportedly Blames His Security Officials or His Power Bike Accident!!!

President Buhari has reportedly blamed his security officials for the power bike accident that caused his only son, Yusuf, to break a limb and sustain a head injury on Tuesday, December 26th.

According to Thisday, President Buhari on Wednesday night was at the Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja where Yusuf is being treated. His countenance showed he was not happy with the way he saw his son. He allegedly openly rebuked his security officials for allowing Yusuf and his friends ride their bike at about 8pm. A source in the presidency who spoke on condition of anonymity said

''The president was at the hospital on Wednesday night. He was very devastated when he saw his son, Yusuf, in a very critical situation. He was shaking his head, while looking at his son and thereafter angrily reprimanded his security officials for allowing Yusuf to leave home at that time of the day for power-bike racing. From the way the president spoke, it appears the security aides are in trouble. He spoke angrily''

OMG! First Lady Aisha Buhari Placed On Bed Rest + Aso RocK Staff Holds A Special Prayer Session For Yusuf!!!

Talk about the pain of a mother. First lady, Aisha Buhari, the mother of hailing Yusuf Buhari has been placed on bed rest at Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja-- the same hospital where her only son is receiving treatments following his horror power bike accident on boxing day.

Daily Post is reporting that Ministers, Governors, EFCC chairman among others were at the hospital today to show support to the first lady and her family. A source was quoted as saying "Yusuf is not in good shape and his condition has taken a serious toll on his mom"

Meanwhile, staff of the presidential villa offered a special prayer today for the quick recovery of Nigeria's first son. The prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Aso Rock Mosque, Abdulwahid Suleiman.
Among those present at the prayer session were the President's ADC. Lawal Abubakar; the president's Senior Special Assist on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu; the president's Chief Personal Security Officer, Abdulkarim Dauda, as well as other presidential aides and staff of the villa.

Prayers Continue To Pour In From Well Meaning Nigerians For Injured Son Of President Mohammadu Buhari + Presidency Denies He Has Been Flown To Germany For Further Treatment!!!

Yesterday we reported that President Buhari's only son, Yusuf Buhari was involved in a ghastly power bike accident in Abuja on the night on Tuesday Dec. 26th. Some sources began to report that there was immediate plans to have him flown out of the country to continue treatment after his surgery at Cidarcrest Hospital in the capital city.
As well meaning Nigerians continue to wish him well, The Cable news reported this morning that Yusuf was driven today to the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja in an ambulance with oxygen support  and then flown out to Germany in an air ambulance in company of his family and an orthopedic specialist. Well, the presidency is now saying that report was not true....

There is tension at the Cidarcrest Hospital, Abuja where Yusuf Buhari is currently receiving medical attention after sustaining a head injury and a broken limb in a power bike accident last night. The unfortunate incident happened in Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory. He has since undergone a surgery and reportedly in a stable condition. However there are speculations that there is an immediate plan in works to have him flown out of the country for proper medical attention as soon as possible. Friends and family continues to offer prayers and show their support for the president's only son. We wish him well.

President Buhari's Son Suffers A Head Injury In A Horror Power Bike Accident On Boxing Day!!!

Nigeria's first son, Yusuf Buhari is said to be fighting for his life in an Abuja hospital after suffering a head injury and multiple fractures following a power bike accident in the capital city yesterday, 26th of Dec.
Yusuf was reportedly drag racing with friends in the city when he veered off the road in an attempt to overtake a friend's bike and lost control of his.

SSA to the president on Media and Publicity as confirmed the accident and stated that Mr Buhari has undergone surgery for his injury and now in a stable condition.

Governor Rocha Okorocha, has sworn in 28 new commissioners and 27 Transition Committee Chairmen for the 27 local government council in the state. Among the commissioners, was the governor's biological sister Mrs Ogechi Ololo (nee Okorocha), who is now the states Commissioner for Happiness and Couple's Fulfillment.........(Say what?)!

This had Nigerians and the good people of Imo state, outraged because they have no idea what the ministry of happiness means or what the governor's sister will be doing as the head of that ministry.....(Like, what in the world is that?).

Among the people who voiced their opinion on twitter was author and lawyer, Reno Omokri, who tweeted.....

"Rocha Okorocah, a man who has spent more money on statues than he has on living human beings has now appointed his biological sister as "Commissioner for Happiness and Couples' Fulfillment". What sin did Imo people commit to deserve this embarrassment as their Governor?

Eight months after his civil ceremony with his gorgeous lady, Nabila Fash, Ajegunle born music Taliban, Oritsefemi tied the knot in a society wedding in Lagos today.

The colorful ceremony went down at The Ark, Okunade Blue Water Drive in Lekki, Lagos with gold and purple dress code.

Oritsefemi was quoted as saying earlier in the year that he had a prior plan to have a destination wedding like 2face Idibia  and Tiwa Savage but later decided against it because he wanted people around him to be a part of his big day.......(good decision)!

Emmerson Mnangagwa Sworn In As Zimbabwe's New President!!!

Emmerson Mnangagwa has been sworn in as Zimbabwe's president in a ceremony this morning at a packed stadium in the country's capital, Harare.

His swearing in ceremony follows the dramatic resignation of Robert Mugabe after 37 years. The former vice-president's dismissal earlier this month led the ruling Zanu-PF party and the army to intervene and force Mr Mugabe to quit.

David Cassidy Dies At 67!!!

David Cassidy, 70's heartthrob and lead singer on "The Partridge Family" has died. He was 67. The singer and actor had been admitted to the intensive care unit of a Fort Lauderdale, Florida area  hospital. He was in critical condition and suffering from organ failure before his death Tuesday. He was reportedly surrounded by his loved ones. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Today a teenage boy strapped with explosive detonated the device at a Medina Mosque in the Unguwa Shuwa area of Mubi in Adamawa state killing people arriving for morning prayers. The death toll so far has risen to 50, says The state police spokesperson, Othman Abubarkar.

“So far we have at least 50 dead from an attack at a mosque in Mubi,” he said

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but over the past 8-years, jihadist group, Boko Haram has carried out several deadly attack on mosque, schools, markets and churches in Northern part of Nigeria.

Della Reese, Singer And ‘Touched By An Angel’ Star, Dies At 86

 Della Reese, the husky-voiced singer and actress who spent almost a decade playing a down-to-earth heavenly messenger on the CBS series “Touched by an Angel” and became an ordained minister in real life, died on Sunday night at her home in Encino, Calif. She was 86. 
Her death was confirmed by her manager, Lynda Bensky. She did not specify the cause but said that Ms. Reese had diabetes.

The star would go on to change her clothes, not once but 12 times throughout the evening, each time giving mommy a fashion 'wink' and we loved every bit of it.

We Cannot Get Enough of Ashlee Simpson's Gorgeous Family at the AMAs!!!

Like seriously, we are all loving Ashley Simpson and her beautiful family at the American Music Awards. The singer, songwriter and singer Jessica Simpson's little sister looked breathtakingly beautiful and obviously very happy with Evan Ross and the rest of the family.

The family rolled in squad deep with their relatives and adorable kiddos, Jagger, 2 and Bronx, 8 (Ashley's son with Pete Wentz) to support Evan's mom, the incomparable Diana Ross, who was honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Ashley stunned in a sequined Christian Siriano gown while posing for pictures with her gorgeous family.

Adesua Etomi And Banky W Makes It Even More Official At The Marriage Registry!!!

After a very lavish traditional marriage ceremony at the Hard Rock Cafe in Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday, actress Adesua Etomi and singer-songwriter, Banky W signs the legal documents officially declaring them as man and wife today in the presence of few close friends and family. The very private ceremony took place at the Ikoyi Registry in Lagos.

Yewande Peregrino of Beyond Faces has died!

Popular Lagos based make up artist and owner of Beyond Faces Makeover, Yewande Peregrino has died. She reportedly died earlier today after a brief illness.
Until her death, Yewande was a mother of one who built a successful brand, Beyond Faces and worked with many celebs and big names in the entertainment and social circles. Sadly friends and family are lamenting her sudden death today on social media. May her soul rest in peace....Amen!

Diana Ross Receives Lifetime Achievement Awards But Her Grand Babies Stole The Show!!!

Motown legend and former Supreme singer. Diana Ross, 73 was honored with the Lifetime Achievements Awards last night at the 2017 American Music Awards which took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.......Thanks to an incredible career that spans over six decades...(phewwww!!!)

The  73-year old (She looks nothing near 70) was beaming with smile when she hit the red-carpet, dazzling in a black dress with a matching hand glove, a beautiful neck piece and a veil,...looking like the ultimate diva (in every good sense of the word) that she is.
Sharing the red-carpet moment with the "Boss lady" were are children and grand babies: son Ross Naess and wife, Kimberly Ryan; son Evan, his wife Ashley Simpson and their adorable daughter, Jagger and Ashley's 8-year old son from a previous relationship, Bronx; as daughters, Chudney, Rhonda and Black-ish star, Tracee Ellis Ross who hosted the show.

The iconic singer gave an epic performance of some of her many hits, including "I'm Coming Out",  "Take Me Higher" and "The Best Years Of My Life".
Towards the end of her performance, she surprised the crowd by pulling a few of her grand-babies on stage and needless to say, THEY STOLE THE SHOW!!!

The much anticipated traditional marriage between Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi and her R&B singer-songwriter sweetheart, Banky W took place today. It was a star studded ceremony with stars like Mofe Damijo, Omotola Ekeinde, Basket Mouth, Tiwa Savage, Mo Abdul, Sola Sobowale, Toke Makinwa, Toolz and a host of others too numerous to mention, in attendance. The ladies looked absolutely stunning. With make-up on 'fleeks', melanin popping and glam squad on deck, these women came to SLAY. Not to be out-done, the men didn't come to play either....THEY CAME CORRECT. And we are loving every bit of it....
