BREAKING: Joan Rivers Rushed To The Hospital After She Stops Breathing During A Surgery!!!

Joan Rivers reportedly rushed to the hospital after she stops breathing during a procedure on her throat. The comedy Icon was undergoing an operation on her vocal chords at a New York Clinic when things went wrong according to TMZ

An emergency call was placed at 9:39-am with the caller reportedly telling 911..."We have somebody in either cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest"

Rivers, who is 81 was taking to Mount Sinai Hospital. He daughter, Melissa is reportedly en-route to New York. We wish her well!!!!

Blue Ivy Carter Shuts Down BET's 106 & Park!!!!

B.I.C is one powerful little chic! The two year old shuts down BET's 106 & Park after a tasteless joke made by one of the host of the music program, Karrueche Tran.



This past Monday, Chris Brown's on and off girlfriend made a joke about two year old Blue Ivy Carter's hair at the VMA  that left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

During the broadcast of the Monday program, BET had Tran read a list of 6 things Blue Ivy was thinking while on stage with her father to present her super-star mom with the 2014 Michael Jackson Vanguard awards. Reading from a teleprompter, Karrueche, joked that the number six thing the little cutie was thinking was....."I really did wake up like this, because my parents don't comb my hair"




Fans were so outraged about the joke that the executives of the music program had to take actions against everyone connected with the joke. According to some sources, BET 106 & Park is going on hiatus...Yep!, The show will be off air for a week.

Slained Ferguson Teen, Michael Brown Laid To Rest Amid Tears!!!

Michael Brown, the 18 year old unarmed black teen who was shot dead by a white cop, Daren Wilson on August 9th, 2014 was laid to rest yesterday August 25th, 2014 at the Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church in St Louis, Missouri. Professor Akunyili died in a India hospital on June 7th, 2014 after a battle with cancer. President Goodluck Jonathan will lead other men and women today to Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral Catholic Church, Garki, Abuja for a Requiem Mass in her honor. The late Icon will be buried at her husband home in Agulu, Amambra State, Nigeria on August 28th, 2014. May her soul continue to rest in peace.

President GEJ Arrived Abuja Yesterday After A Private Visit To Germany!!!

President Goodluck Jonathan arrived Abuja yesterday after a four day private visit to Germany looking hale and hearty. His aircraft touched down at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International airport by 4:25pm Nigerian time and was received by top government officials. His private visit had fueled speculations that he might have fallen ill, necessitating his trip oversea. It was a Beyonce overdose at the just concluded Video Music Awards where she was presented with the 2014 MTV Michael Jackson Vanguard Award by no other, than two of her most precious people in the world....her husband, rap mogul, Jay Z and her adorable daughter Blue Ivy Carter. The 'single ladies' singer delivered an epic performance that brought everyone on their feet, but it was her two year old, Blue Ivy Carter...(B.I.C) that totally stole the show. Singer, Tuface Idibia Loses Dad!!!!

Oh! so sad. Singer 2face Idibia loses dad to cancer. He was 68. Mr Michael Idibia who had been battling prostrate cancer for a while now lost that battle on August 23rd, 2014.

The passing was announced by the Idibia family in an official statement.......

"With sadness in our hearts but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the passing on of our father, brother, uncle and in-law, Michael Agbo Idibia, a native of Okpokwu Idumoga in Benue State. Born on July 25th, 1946, Mr. Idibia is an alumnus Kansas State University, USA and retired from the Ministry of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State.? Survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Owoyi Idibia.
Children: Steven Idibia, Innocent '2face' Idibia, Hyacinth Idibia and Oche Idibia, grand children and siblings. ? Burial arrangement will be announced by the family. We plead with the media and the general public to respect the privacy of the family in this difficult time. Thank you".

Jilted Lover Jumps In Front Of A Moving Train Driven By His Ex!!!

Gary Wells, 36, pictured above was so distraught after splitting from Diane MacDonald, 29(left), his girlfriend of about 8 years that he did the unthinkable.....He killed himself by jumping in front of a train driven by his ex.
 Diane was driving as usual on one of Britain's most scenic rail routes when her Ex, Mr Wells out of nowhere, stepped on the track in front of the moving train. He was killed on the spot!!!
Miss MacDonald who is the first trained woman driver on the West Highland Line in Scotland was left so distressed that she required sedation after the tragedy.

They had both been in a long-term relationship but friends confirmed that the relationship ended about 3-weeks ago and Mr Wells was very devastated . He was survived by a son from a previous relationship and many family members who are now struggling to make sense of this terrible tragedy!

If you ask me, he was one heck of a selfish man! What about the many who loves you? What about your son? This is so wrong. I hope you find some rest!!!

Charles Novia Puts Nigerian Celebrities On Blast Over ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!!!

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, an American initiative to raise awareness as well as money to fight Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).......... a medical condition that makes the victims lose ability to initiate and control all voluntary movements including speaking, swallowing and breathing,  has been trending on the social media and many Nigerian celebrities, home and abroad have taking part in it....Genevieve Nnaji, Davido, Iyanya, P-Square's Peter Okoye, Don Jazzy etc, but there is one Nigerian who is not at all impressed, he is Nollywood's movie producer & industry critic, Charles Novia. Meet Chuka Umunna: "possibly" First 'Black" British/Nigerian Prime Minister!!!

Chuka Umunna is a British born Nigerian who is set to make history as the first ever black British Prime Minister.  The 35 year old was born to a Nigerian father, Bennet Umunna, a lobourer and a Irish mother, Patricia Umunna, a solicitor!

Chuka lost his father in a mysterious car wreck in Nigeria in 1992 after his car ran in to a lorry carrying logs along the Onitsha/Owerri highway in Anambra.

Bennet began an import and export business, trading with Nigeria and was starting to make a good living when he met Patricia Milmo, a solicitor at a London party. She happened to be the daughter of Sir Helenus Milmo, Cambridged educated High Court Judge and a prosecutor at the Nuremberg Nazi trials. They later got married....A rare combination during a time of high social inequality and racism




Chuka,  a 35 year old Labor Party member of the Parliament will become the first black prime minister, if he wins majority of seats out of the 560 seats in the House of Commons during the Parliamentary elections and becomes the party leader by 2015. He is currently the member of parliament for Streatham.

Rumor have it that former British Prime minister, Tony Blair has his back to become the next Prime Minister as Tony Blair belongs to the same party as Chuka.
Chuka who is currently the youngest MPs in the UK, have been introduced to British politics by the curent Labour Party leader, Ed Miliband, while he was in his 20s. It is believed that Chuka might succeed him, and if that goes, he will be on the verge of making history just like Obama as they share a lot of similarities!!!

Nigeria Football Federation's Headquarter Gutted With Fire!!!

The headquarter of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in Wuse Zone 7 District, Abuja was gutted with fire yesterday, the 20th of August, 2014. The cause of the fire was unknown at the time but the Federation's spokesperson, Ademola Olajire confirmed the incident. Mr Olajire said the fire started on the third floor of the building.

Super star singer/actress, Beyonce has arrived in Regent's Parks, but despite having a microphone in hand, this Beyonce won't be singing.....Yes! The famous house of wax, Madam Tussauds has revealed the new Beyonce wax-work in the London park!!!



The single ladies singer has joined the ranks of celebrities and stars showcased in wax by Madam Tussauds in London. The singer's life-size doppelganger wax work was unveiled yesterday at Regent's Park London. Her wax alter ego, carrying a microphone in hand is wearing a gold leotard with tassles and pearl embellishment. The outfit is partnered with matching gold lace up boots as well as nude fishnets...

Stella Damassus Thinks Dr Ameyo Adadevoh Deserves A National Posthumous Honor!!!

It is no longer news that Dr Ameyo Adadevoh, the consultant physician who had contracted the deadly Ebola virus from the Liberian , Mr Patrick Sawyer has passed on. The 58 years old succumbed to the disease Tuesday evening

Dr Ameyo led the medical team at First Consultant Medical Center, a Lagos based hospital that treated Sawyer. Her death  brings the total number of death from Ebola virus to five! in Nigeria!




Since the news of  her death hit the media, a lot of Nigeria has called on the Nigerian Government to honor this great woman who put her own life at risk to stop Patrick Sawyer from leaving the hospital after he had been diagnosed with the disease, thereby stopping further spread of the deadly virus.
Notable among those asking for her to be honored is US based Nollywood veteran, Stella Damascus. The award winning actress has started a change.org petition, calling on the federal government of Nigeria to honor the late Dr.
