The Academy Award winner and star of the X-Men looked absolutely stunning in a throwback dress by her go-to designer, Elie Saab at the 2014 Huading Film Awards....
The gorgeous 47 year old looked ready for the spotlight during the Huading Film Awards on Sunday June 1st, 2014 at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Los Angel'es, California where she was honored with the Global Icon Awards for her impact through motion pictures----having made history as the first African-American woman to win the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in 'Monster Ball'
This was the first time the China's number one film awards has been held in the U.S.
To receive her award the ever-elegant actress wore a throwback dress from the designer, Elie Saab. She first made the designer a house-hold name by wearing one of his gowns to the 2002 Oscars. The lovely actress went back into the designer's archives to pick her dress for her big night....
The black floral-embroidered gown featured sheered sleeves and a lace-accented seductive side slits, hails from the spring 2003 Elie Saab Couture Collection....The first couture collection by the Lebanese designer...
She paired her beautiful gown with a black pointed-toe pumps and completed her look with her signature short feather-hair style....
Of her accolade, Berry said.......
"I thank you very much for this acknowledgement to night, it's truly an honor. When i was in Shanghai, the love that came towards me and the appreciation for the work that i have done, really has stayed with me and i hope that i will continue to make movies and entertain the Chinese audience"
Also recognize at the awards were Bradley Cooper who is set to star in 'American Sniper', actor and star of American Hustle, Jeremy Renner, director Guillermo Del Toro, actress and producer Zoe Saldana and many more.
Notable was the celebration of 'Fast & Furious 6' as the Best Global Movie of the year based on the popular vote of Chinese film fans....

Tyrese Gibson and Jordana Brewster, known to audience around the world as "Roman Pearce" & "Mia Toretto" from the popular franchise, were on hand to accept the award on behalf of the producers of the film. They also honored their late co-star, Paul Walker, stating.....
"We also take this award home in the loving memory of our beloved friend and brother, Paul Walker, who will forever live in our hearts"
