Queen Latifah's Mother, Rita Owens Has Died After A Long Battle With A Heart Condition!!!

America's treasure, Queen Latifah is mourning the loss her dear mother, Ms Rita Owens. The actress and talk show host, announced the passing of "the love of her life" on her Instagram page as well as on a short interview with People's Magazine.
As you probably already know, the Queen has been very vocal about her mom's long battle with heart disease and, sadly the battle ended for her on Wednesday, 21st of 2018.
It's especially tough on the queen of rap music, because she lost her brother many years ago in a horrific motor bike accident and her mother was all she had. Our hearts go out to her at this difficult time.

Oscars2018: My Girl, Sandra Bullock Sparkles On The Red Carpet!!!

If you knew me well, then you already know that I am a Sandra Bullocks fanatic. I really think I am her greatest fan on planet earth. She is a fellow Texan and hands down my all time favorite Hollywood's finest.

Ms. Bullocks rarely hit the red carpet these days but when she does, it's for Hollywood's biggest night of the year......The Oscars!
Sunday night, the actress Sparkled....literally! The 53-year old (yeah, you heard me! 53!), took our breath away in a halter-style Louis Vuitton gown embellished with sparkles and sequins. The star who won the Academy Awards for Best Actress for her starring role in the "Blind Side" is one of the presenters tonight and definitely one of our best dressed for tonight also.

Oscar2018: Mary J Blige Becomes The First Person To Ever Be Nominated Twice In The Same Year For Best Original Song And Best Supporting Actress!!!

Award wining singer and now, Academy award nominated actress, Mary J Blige who grew up in a "war zone" is having a time of her life in Hollywood. The queen of hip hop makes history tonight by becoming the first person in Oscar history to be nominated for both Best Song and Best Supporting Actress in the same year and for the same film. Whether or not she takes home the Oscar tonight, she remains a winner to us all.

Ms. Blige also took the stage earlier tonight to perform the nominated song, Mighty River from the movie "Mudbound"
She stormed the stage looking elegant in a pinkish-red haltered dress with long sparkling earrings. She belted the lyrics as a crowd of back up singers dressed in black attire clapped behind her. A array of clouds appeared on the stage and on the screen while video of the film played behind her.

Oscars2018: Tiffany Haddish Wears Traditional Eritrean Gown In Honor Of Her Late Father To 2018 Oscars!!!

Tiffany who? Tiffany what??? Talk about royalty y'all!!! 

Hollywood's rave of the moment, Tiffany Haddish's Oscar dress was gorgeous and meaningful. The "Girl Trip" actress and presenter arrived at the 90th Annual Academy Awards red carpet wearing a beautiful cream gown with a fitted bodice and full skirt, plus a black cape with black and gold embroidery all over. The dress has a very touching backstory to it.
The lovely actress and comedian told ABC that her look was in tribute to her father who was from the northeast African Country, Eritrea. Her dad passed last year, so she chose this traditional Eritrean dress to pay homage to her father and family's root. Her beauty look consisted of an up-do featuring soft curls framing her face and topped off with gold jewelry. She looked amazing!

  “He said one day I would end up here and if I ever ended up at the Oscars to honor my people so I’m honoring my fellow Eritreans,” she said.

Oscars2018: Nicole Kidman Steals The Show In Blue Gown With Oversize Bow!!!

Leave it to Nicole Kidman to steal the show on the 2018 Oscar red carpet.  The "Big Little Lies" actress stepped out for the 90th  Annual Academy Awards on Sunday night in a stunning royal blue gown by Armani Prive that featured an oversize bow at the waist, and it was one of the absolute best looks of the star studded red carpet. The strapless gown featured a dramatic sweetheart neckline and a thigh-high  slit that gave the glamorous look a sexy vibe. 

Nicole styled her gorgeous fun gown with a pair of strappy black heels and sleek straight hair. She finished her Oscars look off with a pair of dangling diamond earrings by Harry Winston

She posed confidently as ever on the red carpet with her hands on her hips and her signature red lips pursed for cameras.

Music Mogul Rick Ross On Life Support!!!

Sending prayers up to heaven for hip hop superstar. Rick Ross who is reportedly fighting for his life in the cardiac unit of a Miami, Florida hospital. According to TMZ who first broke the news, paramedics responded Thursday night to the music mogul's home and found him unresponsive. Ross was rushed to the hospital were he is currently hooked to a life support machine. The 42-year old reportedly has a history of suffering from seizures.

At this year's black women in Hollywood Oscars Luncheon, the ladies showed up and showed off on the red carpet. From big natural hair to metallic make-up, the event was a trailer load full of our favorite beauty looks. Academy award winner and Black Panther star, Lupita keeps winning the red carpet one plunging gown at a time but she wasn't the only Wakanda queen to stun the red carpet, Wakanda's queen mother, Angela Basset came looking agelessly fabulous in a white strapless jumpsuit at the Thursday evening event.
