2017 Academy Awards end in drama after onstage mixup with Moonlight!!

Oh lawddd, not again! 

The 2017 Academy Awards end in drama as Warren Beatty pulls a 'Steve Harvey' and mistakenly announced La La Land as the winner of Best Picture. It wasn't until La La Land's team took the stage before Oscar producers informed the audience of the mistake and announced the actual winner, Moonlight.
Beatty subsequently explained that he and Faye Dunaway were given the wrong envelop to read.

Despite the mix-up, La La Land took home six Oscars including Best Director(Damian Chazelle), Best Actress(Emma Stone). See List Here

Oscars 2017: Janelle Monae Makes A Grand Entrance In Elie Saab Couture!!!

For Janelle Monae's first trip to the Academy Awards, the singer and actress didn't hold back. Arriving in an ornate Elie Saab Haute Couture fairy-tale gown and layers of diamond, Monae provided the evening with it's most dramatic red carpet moment.
Styled by Maeve Reilly, the Moonlight and Hidden Figures actress wore the black tulle sleeveless gown that was covered in lines of lace set with feathers, sequins, beads and crystal stones, and a jeweled Jennifer Behr crown.

Monae who was one of the presenters of the night said that her black and white palette is a way to "pay homage to my working class roots" (her mother was a janitor, her father a trash man and her stepfather a postal worker)......

Oscars 2017: Viola Davis's Acceptance Speech At The Oscars Had Everyone In Tears!!!

Ok guys, get the tissues ready. Trust me.....you are going to need it!

Like seriously, leave it to Ms Davis to get everyone sobbing! From the moment she began her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards on Sunday, the 'Fences' star's beautiful and impassioned words were quick to get the tears flowing.From singing the praise of artist who fight to "exhume" forgotten stories to tearfully thanking her co-star, Denzel Washington and her family, the entire speech was absolutely incredible, and will likely go down in history as one of the most powerful of all time.
Even more amazing, the win made Viola the first black actor or actress to achieve the "Tripple Crown" referring to actors who've won at least one acting award each at the Oscars, Emmy and Tonys.

Oscars 2017: Moonlight's Mahershala Ali Becomes The First Muslim Actor To Win An Oscar!!!

Mahershala Ali outshines the competition at the 89th Acadamy Awards, winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as a kind-hearted drug dealer in Moonlight.

This win makes Ali, the first Muslim actor to win an Oscar, a particularly notable achievement in 2017 when the White House has placed travel restrictions on individuals from several Muslim-majority nations. The win also makes Ali the fifth black actor to achieve a Supporting Actor Oscar

Nigerian Governor Forum Holds A Valedictory Dinner In Honor Of Outgoing Ondo Governor, Mimiko and Oshiomhole!!!

The Nigerian Governor's Forum (NGF) under the chairmanship of Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara state held a valedictory dinner in honor of former Edo state governor, Adam Oshiomhole and outgoing Ondo state governor, Dr. Olusegum Mimiko.
Present at the ceremony which went down on Wednesday February 15th, were acting president
Yemi  Osinbajo, governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state, governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state, Oyo state governor Abiola Ajumobi, Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai, Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha and many more.

In his speech, acting president Osinbajo prayed for a better future for Mimiko and Oshiomhole.....

.“All of us are extremely proud of your achievements. Adams Oshiomole is a man whose words you can rely on. As for mimiko, Iroko has continued to be Iroko. Let me pray that God almighty will help you both”.... He said

This is not even cute. Why do you two feel like it's okay to put your one year old in the middle of your mess?

 Ok, two days back. Tonto Dikeh's hubby, Olakunle Churchill said he's trying to get 'Exclusive access' to his son. And here was what he said to Toast Magazine.....

"Oh! My son, I sure miss him so much. I have planned a worthwhile birthday party for him with friends and family members but it's sad to say that all effort to reach him proved abortive,  and this is affecting my business and emotions, The mum won't pick calls and the nanny,Our son has been with the mother and not at home for now.  I truly, should not be granting this interview if this is all about my family. Am very optimistic that the family will unite together for King Andrea birthday even though channels to reach my wife is temporarily off"

Today, his son, King Andre turns One and he just shared a photo of an empty seat to wish him happy birthday. The post is generating questions and reactions from his followers.

The woman, Susan Smith, is American and lives in Portland, Washington. She looks like she's in her 60s. She is retired, according to her Facebook bio. She married to Adebiyi in February, 2015. Singer Lady Gaga brought her A-game to Super Bowl Half time performance last night, with a message of inclusion. The vocal powerhouse, kicked off her Super Bowl Halftime show at the top of Houston's NRG stadium singing "God bless America" and then transitioned into "This land is yours".
Before Gaga jumped from the roof top she concluded her emotional intro by quoting from the Pledge of Allegiance "One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all" with a clear emphasis on the "for all" part.
From there on, Gaga erupted into a medley of her greatest hits like "Born this way", "Just Dance", "Poker Face", "Telephone" and "Bad Romance". 
Gaga's performance was full of fireworks and pyrotechnics. Although her jump off the roof top was reportedly a perfect illusion as it was said to have been pre-recorded, but in all, Gaga's performance was epic and she did it all in style.....wearing everything Atellier Versace design which featured 1980s rocker glam shoulders, a high neckline and a futuristic palette.
