Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola has commissioned the newly built ultra modern Tejuosho market in Yaba Lagos, seven years after the old market structure was gutted with fire.
The market which used to have 1,484 lock-up shops has been increased to 2,640. The new facility includes banking spaces, 8 elevators to enable goods, services and people move up, 2 escalators for up and down movements of people, two ramps to assist physically handicap people and a Creche where nursing mothers can attend to and keep their children while they trading...Check out more photos after the jump!!!
Also in the complex is a dedicated Fire Service Station to forestall any incident of fire as well as a dedicated 800 vehicle capacity parking space.......
Good job BRF! This is real nice but i hope there is also a maintenance department set in place. We know how to build Maga plazas but we lack maintenance culture....#JustSayingThough...Good job all the same....Love it!!!
