President Goodluck Jonathan Bows Out Graciously. Thanked Nigerians, addresses loss, legacy, and urges his party, PDP to celebrate and not mourn.***Video***
The Nigeria presidential election has come and gone. The change we so yearned for is here. The incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan lost to the people's general, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari making him the first sitting president to lose an election, but through it all, he has been totally gracious in his defeat.
GEJ displayed class and unprecedented political maturity by conceding the election before the official certification and declaration of the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)....By so doing, he cemented himself as a true democrat in the annals of Nigerian history. In his concession speech the true statesman, thanked Nigerians, congratulated General Muhammadu Buhari and urged PDP to celebrate and not mourn....
Check out his speech after the jump!!!
