Tina Knowles recently married her sweetheart, Richard Lawson on board a Yacht outside Newport Beach. The 61-year old mother of singers, Beyonce and Solange has now opened up about the gorgeous ceremony, revealing that "It couldn't have been more perfect"
Tina spoke candidly to People's Magazine about her special day that had her grand-babies, three year old Blu Ivy and Solange's ten year old son, Julez acting as flower girl and ring bearer respectively...
"To walk down the aisle and see all my friends and family and to see my handsome man standing there, and to know that at 61 you can still find love and have a magical day like that...it was really beautiful"

Tina revealed that Blu Ivy was the one who first brought up the idea of marriage by asking them when they were going to get married during a vacation with Beyonce and Jay Z last September.
Richard said, "Oh Blue, soon. Do you approve? And she said yes. That's the first time we talked seriously about getting married"
Tina who was divorced from Beyonce's dad, Matthew Knowles in 2011 tells People....."There was a time when I doubted if I would find love again. But I was determined to be happy, and God sent somebody into my life. You can find love at any age. You just have to go for it".
For her wedding day? "It couldn't have been more perfect" Tina said. She explained that the all-white wedding has become a family tradition....
"Beyonce started it, and then Kelly and Solange had all-white wedding. It's just elegant, and white represents the purity of love" She said.
Tina has taken her new husband's last name and says she hopes her romance inspires others. The love-birds said "I do" after an 18-months relationship, but the two have known each other for over three decades.
