There is definitely nothing easy about being Diana Ross's daughter and having to measure up to her iconic style but last night, Tracee Ellis Ross knocked it off the park. The Black-ish star, hosted the American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater Sunday night in true Ross fashion, with multiple amazing over the top outfits that reminded us all of how much we love this chic and her superstar mom. She paid so much homage to her mother in a different outfits especially the white and black suit, with the original blouse that her mother wore in a little special she did with the late Michael Jackson in 1981.
Tracee hit the red carpet ahead of hosting the show in a long sleeve maroon sequined dress by Stella McCarthy with Tamara Mellon heels and Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

The star would go on to change her clothes, not once but 12 times throughout the evening, each time giving mommy a fashion 'wink' and we loved every bit of it.

First Change: An over the top orange iridescent pleated Ronald van der Kemp gown with a sleek up-do and darker lip, this time courtesy of Chantecaille Matte Chic lipstick "Dovima"
Up Next: An ice-blue fringed beaded Paco Rabanne top and skirt with turquoise jewelry.
Then This: A white crop top and large tulle ball gown with an asymmetric hemline, Irene Neuwirth necklace and over-the-knee Aldo boots
And Later: She wore statement boots with a vintage Halston sequin jumpsuit and wine lip.
Twinning: Of course, a fashion tribute to her mother, Diana Ross, whom she honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the show was on docket--and she went one step beyond a tribute, actually wearing a shirt from her mom's 1981 performance with Michael Jackson that she found in her garage. The Boss: Then like the boss, she wore a black bodysuit with black sheer overlay and a floral crown with minimal jewelry.
Diva Mode: Then she went full diva in a sparkling black catsuit with oversize, shaggy white floor length coat.
Check It Out: And then gave us an opportunity to check out the catsuit with a dramatic coat drop.
Classic: She picked a plunging ruffled peplum number with slim stilettos and major Irene Neuwirth hoops.
And Here Is: She introduced Pink's performance in a glittery gold long sleeved Tom Ford gown.
Finally: She closed out the night on stage with the rest of her family following her mom's performance wearing a black long sleeved Michael Kors Collection dress with stripes of sequins on the bias and caped sleeves.
Yassssssss girl, that is such a cool way to give mom a little 'wink' and you did it with so much class and we love you.........(I know, I do)!
