Singer Davido Gets A Presidential Welcome In Rwanda!!!

You know you've made it big time, when a sitting president of a Country shows up at the airport to personally welcome you to the country.........That was exactly what happened over the weekend with multiple award winning super star, Davido.


The presidential hand-shake: President Paul Kagame welcomes Davido at Kigali airport!


The 21 year old entertainer was in Rwanda as the leading musical act for a concert marking the Country's liberation day celebration. Upon his arrival at the Kigali airport, Rwanda's president, Paul Kagame and his family were on hand to receive the pop star and his entourage.......how cool is that!!!!

Presidential Hand-shake continued: First lady, Jeanette Kagame welcomes Davido


The 2014 BET winner, proceeded to give an epic performance that had over 60, 000 spectators on their feet the whole night at the Amahoro stadium. Present at the special events were nine East African leaders including the president of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete and president Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya.

The 'skelewu' crooner was later invited to a private performance were he thrilled the African leaders at the presidential villa to some his biggest hits....go ahead boy! do your thing!
