My goodness! the death toll continues to rise! This is real sad!
At least 102 people were reportedly killed and another 150 people injured at Kano Central Mosque yesterday after two bombs exploded outside the central mosque in the city of Kano during the Friday Muslim prayers.
See more after the jump!!!!
According to eye witness account, two bombs exploded one after the other minutes after the prayer started, and a third one went off nearby. The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was reportedly inside the Mosque at the time of the explosion which happened in an outdoor courtyard.
Meanwhile, President Jonathan has ordered a full scale investigations into the attack which is largely thought to be carried out by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.
In a statement disclosed by the special adviser to the president on media/pubilcity affairs, Reuben Abati, the President called on all Nigerians not to despair at this moment of great trials in the nation's history but to remain united to confront the common enemy.
I guess no where is safe after all. Help us God.....May the souls of the victims rest in perfect peace(Amen)
