Nollywood Continues To Mourn The Death Of Aisha Abimbola Who Will Be Laid To Rest In Canada Tonight!!!
Tributes continue to pour in from Nollywood as well as fans of Aisha Abimbola who passed in a Canada hospital on Tuesday night after a long battle with breast cancer.
Fellow actress Bisola Badmus was the first to break the sad news via her Instagram account on Wednesday morning before others like Odunlade Adekola, Ronke Odusanya and Biodun Okeowo further confirmed it as they expressed shock over the painful loss.
In his tribute, Yomi Fabiyi shared a photo of the 46-year old with tears emojis and captioned it "Unquestionable God"
Odunlade also posted a photo of the late actress on his Instagram with the caption "Omg, so sad" while Ronke Odusanya wrote "Still in shock....RIP @OmogeCampus"

Also for her tribute, fellow actress, Biodun Okeowo aka Omo Butty wrote "

According to official statement by Saidi Balogun, the President of The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN), Aisha Abimbola would be laid to rest tonight in Canada........
"we wish to announce to the public that the remains of Amb. AISHA ABIMBOLA( omoge campus) TGMAN Vice President. Will be laid to rest today,Thursday the 17th may 2018. By 2:30 pm Canadian time which is 8:30pm Nigerian time".
The statement also said, "this is being handled in conjunction with the Canadian government and families of the deceased based in Canada and TGMAN. However, a candle light procession/ artiste night will be held in her honor on Thursday 24th, may 2018, while fidau prayers will be offered on Friday 25th, may 2018. ( T- shirts will be available for d artiste night/ candle light programmes) . information on the venues and modalities for collection of T- shirts will be communicated as soon as possible".
