Mamoudou Gassama 'Spiderman' Spectacular Rescue Of Child In Paris Takes Him To Elysee Palace To Meet With President Emmanuel Macron !!!



At a moment when life is becoming increasingly difficult for immigrants in France, 22-year old Mamoudou Gassama has been christened "Spider-man of the 18th" on French social media. Gassama became an overnight celebrity after his Saturday night heroics.

Gassama, a Malian immigrant was walking pass an apartment building just as an emergency was unfolding, with a child dangling from a balcony. In just 30 seconds, Gassama scaled four stories of the building, pulling himself balcony to balcony until he reached the child and lifted him to safety.

The extraordinary video of the 22-year old making the rescue in less than a minute has swiftly earned him a meeting at the Elysee palace. "This is an exceptional act" President Emmanuel Macron told Gassama.
"We will obviously be setting all your papers straight and if you wish it, we will start the process of naturalization so that you can become French"

Gassama told Macron, that he tried to cross the Mediterranean in 2014 to reach Italy but was caught by police.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo praised Gassama's heroism and said the city will support his effort to settle in France. President Macron told Gassama he hoped he could get a "meaningful" job in the country.
  "What you have done corresponds with what firefighters do; if this fits your wish, you could join the firefighters corps so that you could do(such act) on daily basis" he said.

The rescued boy was left unattended by his parents. His father has been reportedly arrested and detained following the incident on suspicion of not fulfilling his parental responsibility

Mamoud Gassama who is photographed above holding his Certificate of Courage and Dedication, was quoted as saying...."I did it because it was a child. I didn't even think about it. I climbed, and thank God I saved him"

From an undocumented immigrant to a naturalized citizen of the country and a job as a firefighter?...That can only be God. So, give Him all the glory and enjoy your new status.
