This is heartbreaking y'all. Morgan Freeman one of the most celebrated actors in the film industry is the latest to be accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by several women. According to several media houses, the accusations range from unwanted touching to sexually suggestive comments on movie sets, in office environment and during meetings with news media.
A production assistant told CNN that she endured several months of harassment while working on the set of "Going In Style" A film released last year starring Mogan Freeman, Alan Arkin and Michael Cain. She said that at one point Freeman tried to lift up her skirt until Arkin intervened and asked him to knock it off. Another lady who worked with him on his latest project said that she was the subject of repeated unwanted touching
So far, a total of eight women have come forward as witnesses to alleged sexual misconducts on Freeman's part. Most of them did not want to be identified because they didn't want to risk their job.
Through his rep, Freeman said Thursday morning that he would never "intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy."
"I apologized to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected---that was never my intent" he continued.
Freeman has one of Hollywood's most successful career, with an Oscar and scores of films under his belt since the mid 1960s. He currently has three films in production, appears in commercials and has done ubiquitous voice over work.
