Robin Thicke And Pharrell Williams Got To Give It Up!!!
Just like the original Marvin Gays's 1977 hit song "Got To Give It Up", which was the center of this lawsuit, Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams have literally Got To Give It Up. the "It" being the money. Yep! Thicke and Williams have been ordered to pay Marvin Gaye's family about $7.4m over 'Blurred Lines' infringement....ouch! I guess the similarities weren't that blurry after all!

Good artist, borrow....Great artist steal...lol!
A jury has awarded Marvin Gaye's children nearly $7.4-million on Tuesday after determining that Robim Thicke and Pharrell Williams copied their father's 1977 classic "Got To Give It Up" to create 'Blurred Lines", the biggest hit song of 2013.....
Marviin Gaye's daughter, Nona wept while the verdict was being read and was hugged by her attorney, Richard Busch.
"Right now, I feel free, free from Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke's chains and what they tried to keep on us and the lies that were told"...Nona Gaye said after the verdict.
The verdict could tarnish the legacy of Williams, a reliable hit maker who has won Grammy awards and appears on NBC's music competition show The Voice.
Thicke told jurors he didn't write the Blurred Lines, which William testified he crafted in about an hour in mid-2012. William told jurors that Gaye's music was part of the soundtrack of his youth. But the seven-time Grammy award winner said he didn't use any of it to create Blurred Lines.
The verdict may face years of appeals. Blurred Lines sold more than 7.3 million copies in the US alone, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures. It earned a Grammy nomination and netted Williams and Thicke millions of dollars.
