40-year old Philly born rapper, Beanie Sigel whose real name is Dwight Grant was shot in the stomach this morning, outside a home in Pleasantville, NJ following an altercation of some kind at about 9.45am. He was reportedly rushed to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center to undergo surgery.

Although details are pretty sketchy at this time. He was reportedly hurt alongside another male friend who refused treatment and was released. No word yet on the shooter and it's unclear what the Philly based actor was doing in NJ at the time of the shooting.
