Nike has announced endorsement deal with reigning tennis champ, Noami Osaka. What that means is, the lovely Japanese born tennis player who had previously been tied to rival Adidas, will now be trading in her Adidas for Nike outfit.
The World #1 will be rocking Nike gear for the first time at the Stuttgart Grand Prix later this month.
Responding to the news, Osaka said in a statement.....
"I'm proud to become a member of the Nike family and excited about getting involved in all of the opportunities Nike has to offer, Nike has a legendary track record of writing history and I look forward to being a part of those moments for many years to come."
Osaka has won the two last Grand Slams-----The Australia Open and U.S Open, making her the first Japanese player to ever win one of the four majors. She shocked herself and the world when she beat tennis queen Serena Williams at Flushing Meadows in September of 2018. She also has deals with numerous brands including Japanese airline, Nippon Airways, car manufacturer Nissan and watch company Citizen
