“He lived his truth” – A Very Emotional Beyoncé Dedicate Her GLAAD Award To Latte Uncle Who Battled HIV!!!
GLAAD's Media Awards, which celebrates those who have made a significant difference promoting acceptance of LGBT people went down on Thursday, the 28th of March in Los Angeles.
The Carters, Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles-Carter were recipients of the Vanguard Award at this year's 30th Annual Ceremony.
During their acceptance speeches, the couple mentioned family members who are a part of the LGBT community. While Jay Z gave a shout out to his mom, wife, Beyonce dedicated her award to the memory of her late uncle, who died from complications from HIV. She proudly referred to him as the "most fabulous gay man" she ever knew.
