After years of alleged physical, mental and emotional abuse, Talk Show Host, Wendy Williams, finally finds the courage to say "I have had enough" and we applaud her for it. According to court document filed in Essex County, New Jersey, the 54-year old and husband, Kevin Hunter are splitting for "irreconcilable differences" . The split comes amid renewed rumors that Hunter has been cheating on Williams with a woman named Sharina Hudson, who gave birth to a baby suspected to be Hunter’s last month. Hunter was served with the divorce papers at 6.30am on Thursday, April, 11th.
The divorce news came after Wendy notably flaunted her lack of a wedding ring early Thursday. Rumors of infidelity has plagued the couple for many years, though William never confirmed them but she vaguely addressed her marital woes on her show earlier this year. cryptically telling viewers after her return from a two month hiatus that her wedding would always stay on her hand.
“I’m still very much in love with my husband,” she said. “Don’t ask me about mine.” Pointing to her wedding ring, Williams added, “It ain’t going anywhere. Not in this lifetime.”
Oh well, I guess her ring apparently did go somewhere. Williams and Hunter met at a skating rink in 1994, tied the knot three years later and welcomed their son, 19-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr., in 2000.
We applaud you Wendy, no woman should ever be with a man who sucks life out of them. This relationship has been toxic for years. You totally deserve better. Keep your head up.
