Singer Mariah Carey was rushed to a hospital in New York on Wednesday after falling ill with a severe case of flu. The star attended the Pier 1 Christmas Pop Up Storybook launch in SoHo on Tuesday night and had mentioned that she was a little under the weather but she went ahead and participated the best way that she could and even spoke about her excitement for the holiday.

Carey who is slated to perform at a special concert in New Jersey on Saturday reportedly, got so sick and dehydrated that her reps had to check her into the hospital on Wednesday. She is said to be doing well......
"Carey had been feeling under the weather the flu over the past few days and was fighting it to the best of her abilities. She's doing well now and will be performing as scheduled this weekend. She thanks her lambs for the continued support and well wishes"....her reps tell people mag.
Get well fast Mariah, and don't you scare us like that anymore!
