How cool is that! The people of Tanzania responded in thousands to their new president's call to spend their 54th independence day cleaning up their environments.....woww!
The president of Tanzania, Dr John Pombe Magufuli called on his people, to get together today as as a nation and embark on a major clean up of the environment in celebration of the 54th independence day and the turn out was nothing short of amazing. Even Mr. president and members of his cabinet came out to show the masses how it is done....talk about leading by example!!!
President Magufuli did his clean up duties at the famous Ferry fish market near the State House; the country's Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan tackled the famous Oyster-bay beach, and the Prime Minister Majaliwa was seen taking care of business at Kariakoo!
