Stevie Wonder to lead stars to Nigeria....

Living legend and international musical icon, Stevie Wonder is expected to lead a group of international music stars to Nigeria for the Nelson Mandela Common Wealth Nation and America Unifying Wrestling Championship in July. The event will also hold in South Africa, Great Britain, and North America(USA & Canada).

According to the project coordinator, ace musician, Tee Mac Itseli, the 25 times Grammy Award winning super-star, will lead a number of celebs from the US, Canada, Britain and South Africa, who will join Nigerian musicians and comedians to perform at the wrestling event in honor of the late Mandela. 

"We have some interesting stars coming for the event, but i think the coming of Stevie Wonder for the event further testifies to the power of Mandela name to draw the best in all areas even in death. Soon we will come out with the list of all participants in the championship, which is a collaboration of the South African High Commission, American Embassy and the Ultimate Wrestling and Charity Organization (TUWCO)" says Tee Mac.

The current world champion of the Universal Professional Wrestling Federation (UPWF), Mr Osita Offor, aka De Ultimate Commander who will be facing top wrestlers at the event says this about his preparation......"I am training here with Jimmy Palm because i want this title to remain in Nigeria. I have also been in touch with my coach, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka as well as Barbarian & Earthquake, because they are the ones in charge of my training. I am waiting for certain things before i join them in the USA" he says.


The event will begin in South African cities of Johannesburg and Durban on the 18th and 20th of July, 2014 respectively. It will hold in the city of Lagos on the 25th of July while a second event will be held in Abia State on the 27th. The British event is scheduled to hold on August 1st and 3rd in two cites that will be announced later. The final leg of the championship will be rounded up in North America, with events in Dallas, Tx, North Carolina and Canada on August 9th, 16th and 23rd respectively......The cities for NC and Canada's events will be announced later.....
