Hollywood's rave of the moment, Tiffany Haddish's Oscar dress was gorgeous and meaningful. The "Girl Trip" actress and presenter arrived at the 90th Annual Academy Awards red carpet wearing a beautiful cream gown with a fitted bodice and full skirt, plus a black cape with black and gold embroidery all over. The dress has a very touching backstory to it.
The lovely actress and comedian told ABC that her look was in tribute to her father who was from the northeast African Country, Eritrea. Her dad passed last year, so she chose this traditional Eritrean dress to pay homage to her father and family's root. Her beauty look consisted of an up-do featuring soft curls framing her face and topped off with gold jewelry. She looked amazing!
“He said one day I would end up here and if I ever ended up at the Oscars to honor my people so I’m honoring my fellow Eritreans,” she said.
