Davido Gets Soul Train Awards Nomination!!!

Nigerian super star singer and BET Award winner, Davido makes history as the first and only African nominated for the 2014 Soul Train Award scheduled for Nov. 7th, 2014.

The 21-year old is nominated in the Best International Performance category and he is up against Machel Montano, Nico and Vinz, Sam Smith, Shaggy feat. Ne-Yo and Ziggy Marley.

"Nigerians Are Still Missing My Late Father"...Gumsu Abacha

Really girl!

Orisirisi osisko nigeria limited....lol.......I stumbled on this and i just had to blog about it. The first daughter of  late maximum ruler, Sani Abacha says Nigerians still misses her father's dictatorship leadership. Gumsu Abacha said she came to the conclusion after closely monitoring people's comment on the trends of political event in Nigerian via the social media.






Pouring out her heart on her tweeter page she wrote.....

"All of a sudden I miss my late father.And I realize that Nigerians miss his leadership everyday when I read people's comments on social media. Whatever you think remains your opinion. He was a loving and caring father. He had a good heart. He was the best ever".

"Happy 54th Independence day to all my Nigerian brothers and sisters. We shall keep rising! May our nations tomorrow be brighter, stronger, prosperous and safer"

Meet Paula Patton's New Man, Zak Waters!!!

Paula is wasting no time moving on! After filing for divorce from husband, Robin Thicke, the actress has moved in her new man. The mystery beau is Zak Waters.

Waters is a California based singer/song writer who received his big break when he was spotlighted on "Late Call" with Carson Daly. Like Thicke, Waters also sings soulful music, but with pop/funk twist.




Zak moved into the "Baggage Claim" actress's Calabasas pad a couple of weeks ago. A close friend of Patton told RadarOnline....."They are very happy together and he treats her how she deserved to be treated"

Confirming he has moved in with Paula, Zak posted a photo of him (below) enjoying a cup of coffee on his Instagram page with a caption...."My new view"





Wondering how Thicke is handling the news of Paula's new housemate? Hehehe! 'ole boy will certainly not be liking Waters Instagram photos anytime from now. It's about to be on...lol




According to a source, Robin is heartbroken that Paula has moved on so quickly. "She's done with him. She does not want anyone talking to her about Robin" the source said.

Many Feared Dead As Inmate Attempts Jail-Break In Kirikiri, Lagos

AIT has reported an attempted jail-break at the Kirikiri medium prison in Apapa area of Lagos, Nigeria, where scores were allegedly said to have been killed.





 According to report, personnel of the Nigerian Navy and the Kirikiri Police Station have been called in to assist the men of the Nigerian Prison Service to safeguard the massive gates of the prison.

 Studies have shown that 65-70% of Americans believe television is addictive but research has yet to define parameters for 'normal' vs 'problem' television viewing.

We watch it everywhere. At home, on your phone, computers, on the train, at the airport and most public places. The truth is some of us are so addicted to television that we do not even know how far gone we are or better yet, we are in denial......So to those of you who do not know whether or not you are, let me to break down the signs to you....

1). You can often be found like this





2). You have a special little dance you do right before a new episode of your favorite show





3). You watch everything you can. So when you get a new show to binge watch, this is your exact state of mind





4). You're on Netflix so often, you don't even notice their weird categories any more





5). You love TV so much, you find yourself sharing what you are watching so often





6). When your friends ask if you think you watch too much TV, this is your response





7). Nothing is more terrifying than the idea of your TV or computer not working during show time





8). You don't know what to do with yourself when you don't have something to watch

You know, that brief period of the year where NOTHING seems to be new on TV. Re-run central is hell. You've seen the same episode of your Criminal Minds 15 times but you're not going to just turn your TV off...lol
