Notable is R&B star, Bank W, who is known for his interest and passion about social issues. The entertainer used his personal blog, The Bank Statement  to reflect on the outcome of the election. Patience Jonathan Calls On Nigeria Women To Give Aisha Buhari The Maximum Support!!!

Nigeria's first lady, Patience Jonathan, is following in her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan's lead by calling Aisha Buhari, the wife of president elect, Gen Muhaamadu Buhari to congratulate her. In a statement released by her aide, Ayo Adewuyi,.....

"The first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan (Mama Peace) has congratulated the wife of the president elect, Hajia Aisha Buhari on the election of her husband, Gen Muhammadu Buhari. The fisrt lady appeals to the Nigerian women to work with Hajia Aisha Buhari and give her the maximum support to make her succeed in her new assignment. The first lady (Mama Peace) wishes her well in her new task"

AUDIO: President GEJ's Call To Congratulate President Elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari!!!

The audio recording of President Jonathan's congratulatory call to President elect, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari has surfaced on the internet. In it we here President Jonathan addresses Gen. Buhari as "Your Excellency", he congratulates him and Buhari response by saying "Thank you, I respect you very much"

President Jonathan, conceded the defeat to his opponent on Tuesday, March 31st way before the final results of the March 28th presidential elections were announced....

PDP's Orubebe Apologizes To Nigerians!!!

PDP's agent Elder Godsday Orubebe has apologized for being such a jerk! He made a stupid attempt to disrupt the collation of the presidential result on a live broadcast, claiming that the INEC chairman Attahiru Jega was partial and demanded that the election be cancelled. His outburst however, was given an epic shutdown by a very calm Jega, making Mr. Orubebe look like a jerk!

With the loss of his party and president GEJ conceding defeat to Gen. Buhari, O'le boy was left with no choice but to apologize to Nigerians for his unwarranted behavior.

Patience Jonathan Moving Out Already?!!!

Mama Peace is not wasting time at all!!!

As the election results trickled in and it became evident that her husband, President Goodluck Jonathan had lost, the first lady, Dame patience Jonathan summoned her domestic staff and commenced the process of moving her personal belongings out of the villa in readiness for the change of guard. According to a source in the villa, by 6pm yesterday the truck had made two trips.
It is however unknown where the first lady's properties were transported to but it will be recalled that Mrs Jonathan was very involved in her husband's campaign and made vile comments about the president elect and his party!!!

For the first time in the history of Nigeria, the opposition has defeated the ruling party in a democratic elections. According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), General Muhammadu Buhari defeated the incumbent, president Goodluck Jonathan by about 2-million votes.

  "A new day and a new Nigeria are upon us" Buhari said shortly after his win on Tuesday. "The victory is yours, and the glory is that of our nations" he added.

The Nigeria presidential election has come and gone. The change we so yearned for is here. The incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan lost to the people's general, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari making him the first sitting president to lose an election, but through it all, he has been totally gracious in his defeat.
GEJ displayed class and unprecedented political maturity by conceding the election before the official certification and declaration of the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)....By so doing, he cemented himself as a true democrat in the annals of Nigerian history.  In his concession speech the true statesman, thanked Nigerians, congratulated General Muhammadu Buhari and urged PDP to celebrate and not mourn....
