Legendary rapper, Snoop Dogg received a well deserved and actually overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday for his work as a rapper, actor, producer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. The "Drop It Like It's Hot" crooner celebrated by giving himself thanks. Snoop was awarded the honor on the 25th anniversary of his debut album "Doggystyle"
The rapper had quite the turn out for the ceremony. Dr Dre, Pharrell Williams, Quincy Jones Jimmy Kimmel, Warren G and many more lined Hollywood Boulevard to see the Hip Hop legend accept the 2,651st star on the iconic California strip. And boy, Snoop did not disappoint at all.

The rapper whose real name is Calvin Broadus was joined by his wife, Shante Broadus and family. After thanking his mentors, Warren G, Dr Dre, Quincy Jones (His music producer), collaborators and fans, the rapper turned the attention to himself....
“I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive," he said. "I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times. Snoop Dogg, you a bad motherf*****."
Snoop, 47, the star of an unlikely television pairing with lifestyle guru, Martha Stewart on the hit Tv show "Martha And Snoop's Potluck Dinner" took his early success as a rapper into work as a film and television actor in shows like "Starsky and Hutch" and "Training Day" and as a television producer.
He has also ventured into reggae and gospel music, survived several brushes with the law over drugs and gun possession, and last month, he published his first book "From Crook To Cook"
"Snoop is just pure, raw talent. Nobody sounds like Snoop" record producer, Dr Dre who produced the "Doggystyle" album in 1993 said at the ceremony. "His style and charisma made me feel like he was destined to be a superstar". Snoop has won multiple music awards but never won a Grammy....."Twenty nominations but not one won.They need to catch up"......Snoop told reporters (and we agree).
