Nigerian footballer, Michael Umanyika has died. The 20-year old died yesterday August 15th while training with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zagatala PFK. Azerbaijani is a a country in the Transcaucasia region, situated between Southwest Asia and Southeastern Europe.
According to local media reports, Michael slumped during training and all efforts to revive him failed. He was later certified dead on arrival at the hospital. This was his first training session with Zagatala PFK after returning from vacationing in Nigeria. May his soul rest in peace!
