 Nigerian rapper, Sherrif Ilori, aka Big Sheff was born into a musical family. His parents are the legendary Sir Kollington Ayila and the original 'Gentle lady' Queen Salawa Abeni (Queen of Waka music). The talented rapper who is currently signed to Candiva Signature is often referred to as "Nigeria Rick Ross" or "Young Ross" by many because of his striking resemblance to the American rapper.
At Felabration 2015, the plus size entertainer got excited during his performance and took off his shirt, thereby sending his audience into a frenzy state. However, in an interview with Saturday Beats, Big Sheff made it clear that he is comfortable with his size....

Nine-year-old Tyshawn Lee was shot in the head and back while on his way to his grandmother's home on the South Side of Chicago on Monday. So far the reward offer for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the killer is growing for the little man whose lifeless body was found riddled with bullets in the alley, where police believed he was lured and executed in an apparent retaliation
hit connected to the boys father's gang ties. While funeral will be held Tuesday for Tyshawn Lee, the authorities are determined to find the people or person responsible for this heinous crime.

Tribunal Sacks Taraba Governor, Declares APC’s Aisha Alhassan Winner!!!

The Taraba State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of Governor Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
‎The tribunal headed by Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar declared the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Senator Aisha Jumai Alhassan‎, as the bona-fide winner of the April 11 governorship poll in the state, making her the nations first democratically elected female governor.
‎Alhassan was among those that were cleared by the Senate to take up Ministerial appointment under President Muhammadu Buhari.

What???? Human Rights Group Wants EFCC To Prosecute The New Ooni Of Ife!!!

Punch is reporting that a human right group known as the Center for Human Rights and Social Justice(CHRSG) has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to prosecute the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, based on allegations of forgery. Below is the copy of the letter

“We wish to refer the Honourable chairman to the contents of a weighty petition involving various acts of criminality namely forgery, fraudulent conversion and obtaining the sum of N400m by false presence levied against the above named person.

“We also refer the chairman to the EFCC’s letter dated 17th September 2015 to Principal Parter, Olawoyin (Legal Practitioners) and a letter dated 23rd September 2015 from Olawoyin & Olawoyin (Legal Practitioners) to EFCC on the same subject matter.

“In view of the foregoing. We hereby request your commission to prosecute immediately upon the receipt of this letter,” the letter read.

The Ooni is currently undergoing 21 day isolation as part of his coronation ceremony

Emir Sanusi's Daughter Puts Linda Ikeji On Blast!!!

Yesterday, blog queen, Linda Ikeji posted a photo of  Emir of Kano's daughter, Princess Yusra Sanusi, titled "Photo of Emir Sanusi's pretty daughter, Yusra"
However the princess was not amused. She considered it a violation of her private life and she wasted no time in letting Linda have it....She was particularly offended by some of the comments from LIB readers. Below is a copy of the mail she sent to Linda....

Hi Linda, I hope you're well. I saw your blog post about my picture and although I am flattered that you think I'm stunning, I find the comments rather offensive. The comments could be classified under two categories: either made by perverts or made by people who used the opportunity to disregard my father's marital affairs. I am aware that you cannot control your viewer's opinions, but you violated My right of privacy by putting up pictures of me on your blog, when you don't even know me personally.

There is more to a person than meets the eye. By putting up my pictures and describing me as "pretty" and "stunning", you are judging me based on my physical appearances. Truth is, this is exactly what is wrong with the world. We reduce people and describe them using shallow and physical adjectives. For the commenter who insisted that I was only pretty with make up on, we live in a world full of Nigerians who spend hundreds, and even thousands on Brazilian and Indian wigs, bleaching creams and fake nails. And you are looking down on me because I am wearing make up?

And, in case you do speak to your commenters, please tell them that  I am not married for "royal ties". And yes, I am older than my father's last wife, but why should that be anybody 's business? To the ignorant commenter who shamed my father for marrying a young wife: My father is a Muslim and his marriage is legal before Islamic Law (look up Prophet Muhammad S.A.W 's marriage to Nana Aisha). If The Almighty God permits his marriage, who are you to condemn it? Why should he please you, the creation, when he can please The Creator?


Going forward, I will appreciate it if you would be as kind as to remove my pictures from your blog so as to stop similarly insulting comments.

But do feel free to post this email on your blog because a lot of ignorant people that read your blog need an educated response. "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".
