Rhianna Rocks African Inspired Bantu Knots.....

Rhianna has always been known to push the envelop when it comes to fashion. She's never afraid to try new things. We have seen her in all forms of hairstyles, from short to long and different shades of colors, but at last night 's iHeart radio awards where she took home four awards, she rocked the heck out of the African inspired Bantu knots and i must say......she looked absolutely fabulous!

RiRi won big at the event. She took home the artist of the year award as well as song of the year, Best fan army and Hip hop/R&B song of the year.

The hip hop princess, had on a sheer lace Givenchy dress that showed a little too much skin and completed her look with silver jewelry and a green lip color but in all, her Bantu knots was the business.

Fayrouz L'Original A-List Fashion Team to Be Led By Mia Atafo, April By Kunbi and Kinabuti

Mai Atafo, April by Kunbi and Kinabuti are set to lead a team of top designers, fashion influencers, stylist and celbrity photographers to the much talked about Fayrouz L'Original show, sponsored by the soft drink brand Fayrouz.  The show is designed to give young undergraduates with unique creative abilities a platform to showcase their original works for a chance to win amazing prizes and opportunities.

 The event which promises to be the biggest fashion competition that Nigerians ever witnessed will see a teams of four young creatives - Models, Fashion designer, Make-up artist and Photographers put together completely original ensembles; competing against one another until a grand winner emerges.

The shortlisted top 10 teams will battle at regional shows in Lagos and Enugu. The highest scoring teams at the Lagos and Enugu regional shows will be housed, monitored and prepped for the final massive grand finale shows that will have celebrities and big names in the fashion industries in attendance.

These celebrated fashion influencers below will be mentoring young aspiring designers at the competition.

Ohimia Atafo aka The fashion artist, will be the grand finale judge and mentor. Mia is the brain behind the lifestyle brand, 'Mai Atafo Inspired'

The art director for the event will be Omoyemi Akerele, the creative director and founder of Style House.

The second grand finale judge will be rising icon award recipient and CEO of April By Kunbi, Olakunbi Oyelesi

Grand finale judge and mentor will be Kinabuti of  Kinabuti fashion initiatives (KFI)

The regional judge for the competition will be Adebayo Oke-Lawal, the founder of fast rising label, Orange culture

Epitome of beauty, talent, creative ability and finesse, Warebi Martha, the CEO of Catwalk production will be the catwalk choreographer for the competition

Kate Williams, the CEO of the fashion brand Vttoire will also be a regional judge.

Official photographer for the competition is Mike Imomh, who has worked with big events like Gulder Ultimate search, Heineken, MTV Base etc...

The consultant and mentor will be Prince Idowu Akanni Oyefusi, owner of Nobel Afrik and past National president of the fashion designers association of Nigeria(FDAN)

Aliko Dangote & Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At 2014 Time 100 Gala!!!

Congratulations to billionaire, Aliko Dangote and Nigeria's finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for making  it to the exclusive list of  2014 Time 100 most influential people. Both attended the honoree gala at the Lincoln Center in New York City on April 29th, 2014 alongside Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde aka Omosexy, who was honored last year.

Omotola who made the list for last year was invited back to the gala where she mingled with 2014 honorees, Aliko & Okonjo-Iweala.

For this year's event, the Nollywood diva, rocked a short sleeve red gown by her go-to-designer, Iconic Invanity. She had her hair pulled back in a sleek pony and accessorized with simple black tiny bangles and a pair of silver and black drop ear-rings

Former "Scandal" star, Columbus Short might be heading to jail.....

 Former 'Scandal' star, Columbus Short, 31 who announced last week that he will not be returning to the show, can't seem to get away from legal woes. It will be recalled that Mr Short, was in the news for allegedly knocking out a man at a family function in March, in which legal action was dropped because of a settlement agreement.

In 2010, a fight on a basket ball court at a Los Angeles gym led to a charge of battery that was resolved when he pleaded no contest to a lesser charge and was sentenced to three years of probation. Well, he is in the news once again for all the wrong reasons.

  His estranged wife, Tanee McCall-Shorts has filled a court documents alleging that Columbus broke in and trashing her home despite retraining order that barres him from the property.

If this is true , the actor might really be heading to jail for violating court orders.

Tanee, 33, had filled a restraining order against the actor sometimes in April, Claiming that Mr Short has at different occasions physically abused her in front of their 2 year old daughter. During the last altercation, she said he held a knife to her neck and threatened to kill himself and her. This is his third arrest, regarding constant altercation with his wife.....

Ok bro, get it together, it's a definite, NO! NO! to put your hands on a woman. If it's not working, GET OUT and there is absolutely nothing worth you taking your life over!!!!! Get some help....We love you as an actor....DO NOT THROW IT AWAY!!!!

Days after NBA commissioner, Adam Silver banned Donald Sterling (Clipper's Owner) for life and promised to commence a proceeding to force him to sell, tons of Hollywood celebrities (both serious and not so serious) have been declaring their interest to buy. The latest addition to the list of potential buyers is billionaire, talks show host, Oprah Winfrey.

According to ESPN.com, the talk show host is reportedly interested in buying the Clippers should Sterling be forced to sell. She is said to be in discussion with a pair of her very rich friends, billionaire media executive, David Geffen and Silicon Valley mogul, Larry Ellison to make a bid should the team become available. Oprah wants to buy the team but does not want a role in the team's front office.

Speaking with ESPN, the Dreamworld Studio executive, David says:

"I am a fan. I bring something to the table,
it's fun and i can afford it. I live in L.A,
that's one thing that makes it interesting"

Prisoner Sues Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West And Other Stars For $2.4 Billion

Wonders, they say, shall never end. In a bizarre celebrity lawsuits, a prisoner in California has filed a $2.4 billion lawsuits against Hip-Hop royalty, Jay Z and wife, Beyonce and other pop stars....Kaye West, Rhianna and Chris Brown.

 The inmate by the name of Richard Dupree claims that the stars stole about 3,000 songs he had been writing while incarcerated. He believes Jay Z and Beyonce worked with the CIA, FBI and homeland security agency and they to spy on him and steal his lyrics and that Kanye West, Rhianna and Chris Brown were co conspirators in the crime. The lawsuit was filed at the California East District Court.....

Totally bizarre, and we cannot wait to see how this plays out. It's really laughable!!!
