Want to know what it cost American tax payers to protect the president and his family of frequent traveler?...Let's just say that it cost enough to make the officials of both New York city and Palm Beach, Fla., to say "We want our money back".
Yep, that's exactly what the New York city police and Palm Beach county are saying to President Trump.
They are asking to be re-reimbursed for the millions of dollars they spend on protecting Mr. President, his family and their homes....hmmm!
In a letter to the New York congressmen last month, NYPD commissioner, James O'Neal wrote.....
"Funding will be critical to ensure New York city can allocate the personnel and resources that are necessary to keep the city and all it's residents safe"
Mayor Bill de Blassio, called it unprecedented when he spoke about this challenges back in December.
"We have never had a situation, where the president of the United States of America would be here on such a regular bases".De Blassio said.

During the transition period from Election Day to inauguration, O'Neal said the cost of securing Trump Tower, which serves both as Trump's home and office, and the area around it added up to 24-million dollars.
In Florida, the Palm Beach County officials said they spend an estimated 60 thousand dollars in over time every day Trump spends at his Mar a Lago---just on protecting the president.
That's a bill local tax payers will have to pay if the federal government or Trump himself doesn't reimburse the County for the cost.
Supporters of the president say that the trip to Mar a Lago are spent working, they even called the Beach-side mansion, the "Winter White House"............Oh please!!!
This is so hypocritical.....because, the president himself had some pretty hash words for his predecessor's trip.
Back in 2011, he tweeted....."The habitual vacationer, Barack Obama, is now in Hawaii. This vacation is costing taxpayers$4-million dollars"
Trump's frequent vacation to the seaside estate contradicts is own promise to stay in Washington and work. He told publication, The Hill during the campaign "I would rarely leave the White House because there's so much work to be done"
So far, Trump has spent more than a quarter of his time in office at Mar a Lago, and was there again this past weekend.
The Trumps present other challenges, as well. There are more moving parts for the Secret Service when it comes to the first family. Trump has multiple homes. His adult children frequently travel and first lady Melania and their son, Barron live in New York City. And NYPD said that decision cost them up to $146 thousand dollars per day.
Oh wowww, I don't get this at all. Can someone explain to me why America is letting this happen? Why are we spending tax payers money to protect Trump's family in three different homes? And why is Barron still in New York?
When President Barack Obama became the president, he sold his house and his car. Uprooted his little girls, who were 10 and 7 at the time, and switched schools and brought his wife with him to
Washington D.C. and got down to the business of running the country. Why is the case different with Trump?
I just have a lot of questions. Like seriously, shouldn't there be a limit of protecting one home other than the White House? And there should really be a limit to how many times President Trump can go to Mar a Lago unless off course, he is paying for it....He is a wealthy man. He should be able to pay the cost of going to Florida every weekend.
This is an outrageous misuse of taxpayers money and absolute selfishness. We are spending tens of millions of dollars to protect a 10-year and yet we are taking food away from the children and elderly? He is going to be spending 54-million on a military ego trip,yet he takes away the after school programs for kids? Wait a minute! How much does the government need to fix the clean water situation in Flint, Michigan again?
This is ridiculous and totally unprecedented. The utter silence is deafening coming from the hypocritical Trump worshipers. Is this really making America great? When comparing President Trump's vacation to former president Barack Obama's vacations side by side...Trump is well on his way to outdo Obama in terms of how much tax payers money is being spent on vacation
As McClatchy reported in December, President Obama cost taxpayers approximately $85-million on vacations during his 8-years in office, averaging a little over $10-million per year. According to TIME, each one of Trump's visit to Mar a Lago cost taxpayers an estimated $3-millon a piece. This means, president Trump has already cost taxpayers more than $30-millon on his vacation in just the first two months of his time in office
All of these unnecessary waste of our funds will stop if he will just occupy the main residence provided and stop taking vacations every week to Florida. And what's up with first daughter Ivanka and her kids flying the Airforce One every freaking minute? That doesn't even make sense, Ivanka, you are a succesful-grown-ass-woman with a family of her own, so knock it off, and pay for your own flight. You are not the first lady. ####StayInYourLane.####......you know what! Girl, bye!
