President GEJ And Former Heads Of State Celebrates With Former President Shehu Shagari On His 90th Birthday!!!

Former Nigerian president Shehu Shagari turned 90 today. Current Nigerian president, Jonathan Goodluck and other former Heads of State, including, Chief Ernest Shonekan, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, Gen Yakubu Gowon and Gen Abubakar Abdulsalami stormed Sokoto to celebrate with the elder statesman. President Shagari was born on the 25th of Feb, 1925 and served as president of Nigeria from 1979 to 1983.

Fashion Police Host, Guiliana Rancic Comes Under Fire For Racist Comments Made About Former Disney Star, Zendaya Coleman!!!

E!'s Guiliana Rancic is being labelled as a racist after she showed a very ugly, racist side on the Oscar edition of Fashion Police which aired on Feb. 23rd. The Fashion Police co-host, joked about Zendaya Coleman's faux dreadlocks on the red carpet saying, that the hair overwhelms her and she "felt like she smells like pachouli oil(olive) and weed"
That comment didn't quite go well with Zendaya and many other celebs who called out the 40-year old TV personality for her racist joke and stereotyping black people with deadlocks, especially since just a few weeks earlier, Kylie Jenner had spotted dreadlocks and the same Guiliana described the look as edgy.

Meet Josephine Agwu, A True Face Of Honesty: Airport Cleaner on N7, 800 A Month Salary Returned N12-Million Found In Restroom!!!

Who said there are no honest Nigerians? Permit me to introduce you to a lady named Josephine Agwu, a cleaner at Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos, Nigeria. She is one heck of a rare breed!!!
According to Tribune, Ms Agwu, a cleaner at the Airport who earns N7, 800, equivalent of $38.00 a month returned N12-Million cash which she had found in one of the airport restroom she had been cleaning to the rightful owner. The lady said, she had no doubt whatsoever about returning  the huge cash. This is what she said....

"If I had taken what doesn't belong to me, God will punish me. I am content with my N7,800 monthly salary. It was not my money. I believe when it pleases God, He will bless the work of my hands and will make me rich"

What a lady!!!
This is the second time Josephine has reportedly found money while cleaning the restrooms and returned it. When she returned the N12-Million, she was given $50 by the owner but on hearing the story which immediately went viral on the internet, The Lagos State House of Assembly has reportedly invited her to be honored and duly compensated for her honesty when the house resumes from their month long recess.
Bless your heart woman! David Oyelowo Moved To Tears By John Legend And Commons Performance of 'Glory' At The 2015 Academy Awards!!!

John Legend and Common's powerful performance of "Glory", the team song for the movie, "Selma" at the 2015 Oscars moved many to tears and got a standing ovation at the end of the performance. David Oyelowo, who played the role of Martin Luther King Jr, Chris Pine and many others were seen visibly crying as they stood up to give the performance a standing ovation.



The song also won the Best Song. In their acceptance speech, Common thanked God who he believes "lives in us all"

Singer Rhianna turned 27 on the 20th of Feb., 2015. The day started with her shooting a music video, and later ended with her record label, Roc Nation, throwing her a surprise birthday bash with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry in attendance.

To honor her mom, RiRi took to her Instagram page to share the significance of her 27th birthday. Here is what she wrote:

President Jonathan Commissions Navy Four Navy Ships In Lagos Today!!!

Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan commissioned four heavy Navy ships in Lagos today and has promised to acquire more.
"Let me use this platform to promise my Nigerian country men and women that we will rout Boko Haram" Jonathan said at the Naval Dockyard Ltd, Victoria Island..venue of the inauguration. The ships, Okpabana, Centenary, Sagbama and prosperity were handed over to the Nigerian Navy making it the first time in the history of Nigeria for ships to be simultaneously put into service.

Award winning singer Davido, aka Omo Baba Olowo was spotted hanging out with billionaire Femi Otedola on board the Fort Oil CEO's Yacht, Nana in Victoria Island, Lagos a few days ago. This comes barely a week after the 'Skelewu' crooner was at the oil mogul's Ikoyi home.  Davido shared the photos on his page and simply captioned it .....

Husband Sends Valentine's Flowers To Wife After Death!!!

Talk about eternal love! It's no news and certainly not uncommon for husbands to send flowers to their wives on Valentine's day but when the flowers are coming from a man who died a year earlier, it certainly becomes news...

A Wyoming man who died of brain cancer last July is keeping Valentine's day special for his wife, even in death!
When Shelly Golay first received the flowers two days before Valentine's day, she initially thought her children had sent them but after contacting the flower shop, she learned that her husband, Jim had arranged before his death for flowers to be sent to her every Valentine's day until she too dies. Golay tells KCWY-TV, the gesture shows that when it comes to her late husband's love, there are no boundaries, even in death. She likened it to the true love of fairy tales. Jim was 53-years old when he died.

Davido Makes Shocking Revelation About His Teacher!!!!

Singer Davido is one of the biggest music act in Africa, and lest we forget, 2014 BET Award winning super star,...yep! But yesterday, the 22-year old made a starling revelation about one of his teachers in high school. Bobby Brown Shuts Down Reports That Bobbi Kristina Brown Will Be Taken Off Life Support Today. Plus Photos From Public Vigil!!!

Ever since Bobbi Kristina Brown was placed on medically induced coma after being found face down in the bathtub of her Atlanta home, there as been one report after the other about her conditions that appears not to be true. The question is, which member of the family should not be allowed around Bobbi Kriss at this time? Someone is definitely talking to the press and making money off of this girl's situation and that's sad.
 In the wake of another false report yesterday claiming that the 21-year old will be taken off life support today on the 3rd anniversary of her mom, Whitney Houston's death, Her dad has denied the report in a statement released through his lawyer, Christopher Brown.



The family statement blasts a number of media outlets like New York Post, TMZ, National Enquiry, Atlanta Journal Constitution, British Daily Mail, and more, for false reporting. His lawyer, Christopher Brown wrote:

  "The false reports that continues to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time"

"In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitutional, and UK's Daily Mail citing, police source, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be first has clouded the judgement of many reporters as they forgo accuracy"

Family To Let Bobbi Kristina Brown Die On The Same Day As Whitney!!!

As an unrepentant WhitneyHoustonian, this is a very tough one for me. But it's probably not as tough as it is for singer Bobby Brown who is faced with a difficult task tonight. Online news sites, Page Six and TMZ are reporting that the Brown and Houston family have agreed to take Bobbi Kristina Brown off life support at the stroke of midnight today so she can die on the same day as her mom....#SoSad!
