Nigeria has continued to get global attention since the abduction of over 200 girls from their School in Chibok over a month ago. There has been a lot of assistance coming in from all over the world to help find these girls and to also put an end to Boko Haram and their terrorist activities in Nigeria.
The most recent assistance comes from the government of Norway who has just donated the sum of $1.6 Million to Nigeria's #BringBackOurGirls' cause. That's equivalent of about =N=259 million (two hundred and fifty nine million Naira)......Wowwww!!!
Skandik Afrik reports....
"The Norwegian government has decided to allocate 1.6 million USD (10 million Norwegian Krone) to promote safe schooling in the Northern part of Nigeria and to help the communities affected by the abduction. The Norwegian Minister of foreign affairs, Mr. Borge Brend said Norway will also consider providing humanitarian assistance for the refugees and internally displaced people in the area"
This is a real awesome gesture from the Norwegian government. And to everyone and Countries that has donated towards this cause, we are grateful......Our prayer is that the funds are used for the purpose for which it's intended. We all know how we are with money.......God help us!!!!
