Nigerian Gospel Singer, Kefee Needs Our Prayer!!!

Nigerian gospel singer, kefee is in critical condition and needs our prayer. The artist who was on a Chicago bound flight yesterday, reportedly slumped mid-air,  forcing the flight to make an emergency landing in California so she could get some treatment.
SDK has now reported that she suffered a brain damage. The report states that she slipped into coma hours later and is now relying on a life support machine at a Las Vegas hospital.....

No word from her camp yet but we understand that her husband, Teddy Esosa aka Don Momoh flew in to be by her side at the hospital.

We pray and hope she pulls through. It sure doesn't look good but God is still on the throne and He alone has the final say...Get well fast, sweetheart....R O B!!!

Be sure to say a prayer for Kafee..........

We wish them a blessed and fruitful union!!!!

@ 73, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett Is Still Active In More Ways Than One!!!

Acclaimed international actress, Taiwo Ajayi-Lycett is the ultimate example of a lady who is simply young at heart. The septuagenarian (she turned 73 on Feb. 3rd, 2014) might be in her seventies but please don't count her out just yet when it comes to the game of love/sex, because 'it ain't over until the fat mama sings'...lol.

The lovely veteran actress got us looking at things in a different way earlier in the year when she revealed that there was a chance she would remarry again. She said she has a 53 year old man who is on her heels for marriage....(Go ahead girl, ain't mad 'atch' u!)  This was what she had to say then.....

"I wouldn't say no. I am still alive (laughs). We can't foreclose. It's silly to say I'll never remarry. I could have remarried if circumstances had been different. I have a 53 year old man who wants to marry me. When you fall in love, you fall in love. You can't command the heart to fall in love and it wouldn't be a relationship if love isn't involved" she said

Just recently, while promoting her new stage play 'Hear Word'  where she plays a sexually old woman, the star said, old people still enjoy sex and some are quite still sexually active......

"I am a old woman in the play and in real life. I am 73. The society doesn't think older women exist anymore, nobody they feel anything. The people around old women never realize they are going through a turmoil, nobody cares about them. So, what i am trying to portray is that it's not over until it is over. That an old woman is still alive in more ways than one, they still have sexual urges, people forget an old woman is human. An old woman enjoys sex her sexual life more when she no longer thinks about children's school fees, when the children have all gone to their husband's houses or in some cases, the boys have married and it remains only the old woman and her husband. It never crosses our mind that these old parents can still get on whenever they like. Do you know that when an old man realizes he is free from child bearing, he becomes promiscuous and they are susceptible to all kinds of diseases. But the old woman is confined to a corner in the house, nobody thinks she is still actually active" she said....

Yeahhhh mama, i hear you!...You're going to ride this 'ish' till the wheels fall off***winks***......Lol.
I must admit she still got it though. She doesn't look any where near 73 but who really wants to picture his or her grandma having sex?.....(whoooo.....not me) But hey! do your thing mama, after all, age ain't nothing but numbers.....R O B!!!!.

'Still I Rise'.....Maya Angelou...***Videos***

              Dr. Maya Angelou (April 4th, 1928 - May 28th, 2014)

As we celebrate the life and times of one of the world's most eloquent and powerful articulators of spoken word, Dr Maya Angelou who passed on yesterday, May 28, 2014 at the age of 86, we cannot but mention one of her best poems ever....'STILL I RISE'

Although she blessed us with so many great poems, 'Still I Rise' is the best known for a good reason. It is a wonderfully defiant, human, uplifting cry from the deep heart of America, which tells a story that I'm sure speaks to us all....

STILL I RISE

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room

Just like moons and like suns
With the certainty of tides
Just like hopes spring high
Still, I rise

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops
Weakened by my soulful cries

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't take it awful hard
'Cause i laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own back yard

You may shoot me with your words
You may cut me with your eyes
You may kill me with your hatefulness
But still, like air, I'll rise

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That i dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the hurt of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise

I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide
Welling and swelling I bear the tide
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise

Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave
I am the dream and the hope of the slave
I rise
I rise
I rise

"Woww, what an amazing and inspirational human being and Yes! We loved you too. You were a true example of strength and courage. You gave us peace and hope and challenged us to rise above our circumstances....Your amazing energy will always be around. RIP".....Rosemary Osho

The Words Of Wisdom From Maya Angelou To Tupac "2pac" Shakur That Brought The Rapper To Tears***VIDEO***

Dr. Maya Angelou died yesterday, May 28th, 2014. She had an illustrious career as a poet, singer, dancer and director. She leaves behind an impeccable legacy. And throughout her life she touched a lot of people worldwide. Her influence on many of today's INFLUENCE-RS to do better cannot be over-emphasized. Many of the celebrities often went to her for advice and she welcomed them with open hands; she considered them her children....

"Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock --- a number of men have come here to my home in North Carolina to talk to me and asked me how i feel about this and that. They are all my children, I've accepted them as my children" she said in a 2013 interview with CNN's Gorge Stroumboulopoulos

She recalled her conversation with late rapper Tupac Shakur on the set of the movie "Poetic Justice". The movie which starred Tupac alongside Janet Jackson also featured Maya Angelou in a cameo appearance.
Her poem "Phenomenal Woman" was also used in the production. According to Ms. Angelou, the rapper was having an altercation with another friend, so she pulled him aside and had a word with him.....

"I didn't know who he was. He was into a big row with another young man, so i said to him...may i speak to you. And he was cursing, whooo....And i said, when was the last time anyone told you how important you are? Did you know people stood on auction block and were bought and sold so that you could stay alive today? And finally he heard me and stopped talking and started to weep. I put my arms around him and walked him back into the arena and he quieted. I went back into my trailer and Janet Jackson came running in and said, 'Dr Angelou, i don't believe you actually spoke to Tupac Shakur!' And i said, 'Darling, i don't know 6pack. I had never heard of him"

When asked about her teaching method, the literary icon said......

"I'm loving but tough. I've worked very hard and I want the young people to know you have to work very hard"

Maya Angelous And Friends***PHOTOS***Dignitaries Reacts To Her Passing!!!

Dr. Maya Angelou who died in the early hours of May 28, 2014 at the age of 86, leaves behind an incredible body of work, as well as influential friends who knew her as a good soul. An amazing lady who lived her life pushing for justice, education and equality. Her are a few of them and their reaction to her passing.....

With talk show host Oprah Winfrey...She called her Mom!

"I have been blessed to have Maya Angelou as my mentor, mother/sister and friend since my 20's. She was there for me always, guiding me through some of the most important years of my life. The world knows her as a poet but at the heart of her, she was a teacher. 'When you learn, teach. When you get, give' is one of my best lessons from her.
She won three Grammys, spoke six languages and was the second poet in history to recite a poem at a presidential inauguration. But what stands out to me most about Maya Angelou is not what she has done, or written or spoken, it's how she lived her life. She moved through the world with unshakable calm, confidence, and a fierce grace. I loved her and i know she loved me. I will profoundly miss her. She will always be the rainbow in my cloud".....Oprah Winfrey

"Look at AK in a moment i will never forget! At auntie Oprah's legend ball in 2005! I had the opportunity to be in the presence of the phenomenal Dr Maya Angelou, whose every word was a message! Whose books and poetry all inspired me to speak louder and to write deeper and go forth no matter what obstacles are in the way!! She is the most incredible example of survival and thriving and using experience as a tonic of encouragement and possibility! An angel on earth has ascended into heaven!! Thank you beautiful Dr Angelou for all that you have left behind for us! We miss you already!".....Alicia Keys.

It was the final episode of Sundance's Iconoclasts ....According to Maya, they enjoyed a home cooked southern meal including pan-fried chicken, biscuits and fried apples and got along splendidly except when it came to defending the "N word". Chappelle said it was "pretty odd pairing even by my standards" and admitted he was nervous to meet her.....

With Tyler Perry on the set of  'Madea Family Reunion'

"There have been a handful of people in my life who have moved me, inspired me and encouraged me and helped mold the man i am today. One of those people would be Dr Maya Angelou. She was a woman i called "friend". Her words and her spirit are too powerful to leave this earth with her passing. Her legacy and poems will take wings, forever landing at the foundation of anything that betters humanity. Dr Maya Angelou will live on in all of us who called her a phenomena woman, phenomenally. She is loved and will be missed.".....Tyler Perry

President Barack Obama praised the late Dr Maya Angelou as "One of the brightest lights of our time"
In a written statement, Obama quoted a line that Angelou said after last year's death of Nelson Mandela....."No sun outlasts it's sunset, but will rise again and bring dawn"

Obama said that while the literary icon was many things----"An author, poet, civil right activist, playwright, actress, director, composer, singer, and dancer"----She was above all a storyteller whose greatest stories were true". He continued by saying......

"A childhood of suffering and abuse actually drove her to stop speaking, but the voice she found helped a generations of Americans to find their rainbow a midst the clouds and inspired the rest of us to be our best selves. In-fact, she inspired my own mother to name my sister, Maya. So like so many other, Michelle and I will always cherish the time we were privileged to spend with Maya. With a kind word and strong embrace, she had the ability to remind us that we are all God's children; that we all have something to offer. And while Maya's day may be done, we take comfort in knowing that her song will continue,'flung up to heaven----And we celebrate the dawn that Maya Angelou helped bring"

"America has lost a great treasure; and Hilary and i, a beloved friend. The poem and stories she wrote and read to us in her commanding voice were gifts of wisdom and wit, courage and grace. I will always be grateful for her electrifying reading of 'On The Pulse Of Morning' at my first inaugural and even more for all the years of friendship that followed. Now, she sings the songs the creator gave to her when the river and the tree and the stone were one. Our deepest sympathies are with Guy and his family".....Former President Bill Clinton

With former President George W. Bush & Former former first lady, Laura Bush

"Laura and I are saddened to learn of the death of Maya Angelou. She was among the most talented writers of our time. Her words inspired peace and equality and enriched the culture  of our Country. We are grateful for the work she leaves behind and we wish her the peace she always sought".....Former President George W. Bush.
