Singer, 9ice, born Abolore Akande who declared his intention to go into politics months ago, took his awareness campaign to his hometown of Ogbomoso, Oyo State yesterday the 10th of September, 2014.
The Gongo Aso singer gave a very powerful speech at a town hall meeting in Oja Igbo where he promised that if elected to represent Ogbomoso Federal Constituency 1, he will use his salary to implement developmental projects in the constituency.....(Hehehehe, Abeg, make you no promise wetin you no go fit deliver o!).....Meaning: Please, do not make promises that you can not fulfill....Just saying!
The entertainer, is running under the umbrella of Action Progressive Congress (APC) for the upcoming House Of Representative elections......

What's up with the sudden influx of entertainers into politics though? It seem like every singer/actress I know is declaring their political ambitions......Anyway! what's my own?.....Good one 9ice, but please do not over promise and under deliver like most politicians do.
