Earlier today, Sahara Reporters broke the news that Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) had taken over Silverbird Groups belonging to Senator Ben Bruce over an N11b Naira debt. A lot of people where surprised that the ever-out-spoke Senator was usually quiet on this matter.
Well, Mr. Bruce has finally addressed the AMCON take over of his assets. The assets affected are Silverbird Galleria Limited, Silverbird Promotions Limited, Rhythm 93.7 and Silverbird Showtime Limited in Lagos as well as the one in Port Harcout.
The Senator who took to his twitter page to address the issue said, the reason for his silence was because he was on an international flight. He said the issue was being resolved and closed out his tweet with "Tough times dont last. But we, as tough people, outlast them"
