The identity of the man diagnosed with the first case of Ebola virus disease in America has been revealed. He is 42-year old Eric Duncan. Reportedly, this is Eric's first trip to the US and he is here to visit family members. He is believed to have contracted the deadly virus from an infected pregnant woman, Marthalene Williams. She was a family friend and Mr Duncan was a tenant in the house owned by the Williams family....
About 15 people Eric came in contact with in the US have been traced.They include five students from different schools and his girlfriend's children. All contacts however has not shown any symptoms of the disease and are said to be doing fine. Eric is listed in critical condition. May God heal him!
