Nigerian Presidential Elections: APC Accuses President Jonathan Of Spending =N=1Trn On His Campaign!!!
One Trillion?
With four days to Nigeria's presidential elections, the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Organization, APCPCO, has accused President Jonathan of using tax payer's money up to the tune of One Trillion Naira to finance his campaign, buying off traditional rulers and other interest groups as well as funding a hate campaign against his opponent, General Buhari.
The allegations were made via Mallam Garba Shehu, the Director, Media and Publicity of the Buhari campaign......
"President Jonathan has been criss-crossing Nigerian giving an average of =N=50-Million each to traditional rulers, most especially in the South west and Northern parts of Nigeria. This week, the president's campaign money is being shipped to the North. You will recall that a pastor recently confirmed that =N=7-Billion was given to pastors to spread unfounded allegations of Islamaphobia and scare mongering against Gen Buhari and other APC leaders"
He went on to suggest that this money could be used towards feeding primary school students daily, which happens to be part of APC's program when Buhari becomes the president.....
"A fraction of the Trillion Naira hate campaign expenditure will fund the APC's program of feeding primary school pupils in Nigeria on one nutritional meal a day, comfortably pay =N=5000 monthly to 25-million very poor Nigerians for a year and pay unemployment benefits for one year for graduates who can't find gainful employment one year after NYSC which are core to the social welfare programs of the APC federal Government Buhari will lead"
However, the Jonathan campaign team has responded by saying that allegations are not true, and accuses Buhari's team of fear of losing at the polls.
