Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan commissioned four heavy Navy ships in Lagos today and has promised to acquire more.
"Let me use this platform to promise my Nigerian country men and women that we will rout Boko Haram" Jonathan said at the Naval Dockyard Ltd, Victoria Island..venue of the inauguration. The ships, Okpabana, Centenary, Sagbama and prosperity were handed over to the Nigerian Navy making it the first time in the history of Nigeria for ships to be simultaneously put into service.
